The Solent Creative Growth Programme

The Solent is home to a wide range of creative and cultural industries from computer consultancy activities, through to radio broadcasting and performing arts. The sector is growing fast, with an additional 10,000 jobs created over the last five years alone. The creative industries are at the heart of the Solent's economic recovery and our ambitions to create an environment where the visitor and cultural economy can thrive.

In the Solent we have a raft of small, medium and larger businesses strengthening and shaping the creative DNA of the region. From designing games, or inspiring the next GB athlete, to training film producers, it's all happening here. Raising the profile of our superb creative businesses and cultural offer, and integrating these unique assets more closely within our wider tourism and visitor economy will help shape future prosperity. This has led to the LEP developing a range of support for the sector creative starting with the launch of the Creative Growth Solent programme.

Whilst all of the business support that our Growth Hub offers is for all business types, we have also designed some specific support for the creative industries.
