The Local Business Networks Programme (known also as 'Peer Networking') has established a series of networks, with 11 business owners or managers from small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in each group.
After a highly successful first round of Local Business Networks sessions we're delighted to announce that we are now recruiting for a new programme of groups starting in Spring 2021.
Led by an experienced facilitator, these business networks typically meet monthly for 2-3-hour sessions.
Solent LEP Peer Network
"Overcome business challenges"
Our Local Business Networks are for business owners or managers from the SME business community based in the Solent area.
We are aiming to encourage and support business groups who are less traditionally engaged with us and the business support we offer to take part in our Local Business Networks.
We will again run women in business networks and there will be two of these groups for those who prefer this dynamic.
We would like to run a Local Business Network for business leaders from ethnic minority groups.
Our aim in creating these specific groups is to bring together business people who may face similar challenges and who may feel more comfortable sharing these with those from similar backgrounds.
We're running mixed groups to include businesses from different sectors and backgrounds. However business leaders can choose to join any of the networks being set up.
