Solent businesses invited to free wellbeing webinar to improve productivity

16 February 2022

As part of the Solent Local Enterprise Partnership's (LEP) commitment to putting health and wellbeing at the heart of the region's economic recovery, it is running a free webinar for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs): Improve productivity with good nutrition & diet.
Taking place on 22 February from 1pm, nutritional expert Neil D’Silva (DipNutr. Adv) will identify how diets can influence physical and mental wellbeing, and in turn, productivity.
Paula Swain, Solent LEP Business Director and SME Business Ambassador, said: "Running a business has been harder than ever in recent years, and the risks of not taking good care of yourself when you are doing so are high. At the LEP we are aiming to support SMEs in a holistic way, by nurturing wellbeing too. Whilst we offer highly practical business support, we are also helping businesses recognise that improved wellbeing can create a positive and lasting impact for the future success of their business."
The Solent LEP has partnered with the Federation for Small Businesses (FSB) to provide a package of support for business owners to help their mental health and wellbeing. This is the latest in a run of free online webinars.
FSB Care, provider of Solent Business Wellbeing Support, will also be on hand to explain how FSB Care’s team of nurses can help business owners with both their mental and physical wellbeing through one-to-one support, resources and face-to-face therapies funded by the Solent LEP.
