Clean Maritime Demonstration Competition - Information and Networking Event

Summary:

The Clean Maritime Demonstration Competition (CMDC) programme is a multi-year research and development funding initiative. The competition was launched by the Department for Transport (DfT) in partnership with Innovate UK in 2021 to encourage innovative clean maritime and smart shipping projects in support of the transition to Net Zero.;

Following on from the successful rounds 1 and 2 of the competition, we would like to invite local businesses to attend an in-person event to learn more about the launch of future rounds of the programme.

This event is organised by Maritime UK Solent in collaboration with the Department for Transport and will be held at BAR Technologies - Portsmouth on 5 October 2022. This in person event will be complementary to a CMDC Industry Update Session , but with an additional opportunity for networking.

This is a great opportunity for Solent based maritime businesses in the innovation space to meet DfT representatives and learn more about research and development funding available to them in future rounds of the programme.
