Maritime UK Solent - Breakfast Meeting (November 2021)

Summary:

To help people in our thriving maritime sector connect with other local businesses and find out more about what others are doing, Maritime UK Solent have established a programme of monthly breakfast meetings.

This month they will be focusing on skills as they welcome:

• Matthew Leopold from JobCentrePlus providing an update on Kickstart
• Rachel Kitley and David Sanchez-Brown from Cowes Enterprise College IOW discussing how the College engages with industry and embeds its Maritime Futures programme across the curriculum
• Sara Balls from the Royal Navy to discuss their apprenticeship programme
• Darren Coventry and Dan Wareham from Eastleigh College discussing their new apprenticeship programme for project management, and the funding opportunities available.
