Navigating Net Zero at Venture Fest South

Summary:

Our affiliated company, Maritime UK Solent is running a session at this year's Venturefest South event entitled Navigating Net Zero on 21 October at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton.

Coming just ahead of COP 26, this is a timely topic. Please join them where they will focus on clean maritime innovation in the Solent by bringing together key partners to engage with delegates at Venturefest in the Ageas Suite. There will be ample space to liaise, collaborate and hopefully establish relationships that will not only benefit the region's maritime sector, but also its varied supply chains.

The #NavigatingNetZero will include:

• A presentation on the newly formed Solent Maritime Innovation Gateway
• The launch of the Solent Local Enterprise Partnership's 10 Point Green Plan for Industrial Revolution

Partner exhibitors will be there to speak with people about the innovation they are introducing into their businesses to promote clean maritime. They include:

• Wightlink  
• The Centre Enzyme Innovation, University of Portsmouth
• The National Oceanography Centre
• Fawley Waterside
• The LEP's Skills Hub and Growth Hub teams, who respectively can speak with businesses about how to support help shape the skills innovation agenda in the region's schools and colleges; and what free business support the LEP has to offer.
