Prosperity Fund: Large Projects & Programmes Webinar - 11 September

Summary:

We are inviting you to join one of our information webinars to hear first-hand from the LEP team on funding available to support large capital projects and programmes that have the potential to transform the Solent economy. Stuart Baker, Head of Local Growth, and Steve Futter, Head of Capital and Infrastructure, will discuss the requirements of the fund for anyone interested in either project or programme proposals and the webinar will provide opportunities to ask any questions that you may have.

The SPF for large projects aims to provide opportunities for organisations to deliver large capital projects that can deliver one or more of the following outputs:

• Enabling / unlocking housing delivery;
• SME growth;
• Improved productivity in priority sectors;
• Connecting communities and businesses (digital and transport);
• Employment growth;
• Developing skills and talent needed by employers;
• Pioneering innovation and research;
• Strengthened natural capital infrastructure;
• Waterfront employment sites;
• Respond to key environmental challenges.

The LEP will also consider proposals for programme funding from organisations who can come forward with co-investment opportunities to support:

Accelerated Housing delivery;

Digital connectivity;

Natural capital enhancements;

Low carbon energy innovations;

Growth in priority sectors.
