The Skills Toolkit

The Skills Toolkit is now available with access to free, high-quality courses to help people develop their skills, progress in work and boost their job prospects. The courses are available to everyone and were chosen in conjunction with top businesses and educational experts.

The toolkit enables users to develop digital and numeracy skills which are sought after by employers and offers furloughed employees the opportunity to improve their skill set whilst at home.

Introductory, intermediate and advanced level courses are available, from bite-size learning opportunities, all the way up to 70 hour courses to learn how to code in Python. All courses are flexible, and learners can work at their own pace. Courses available include presenting your work with impact, using social media and staying safe online to more advanced training in digital marketing, cyber security and coding for data analysis.

Focusing on skills many employers value the most, The Skills Toolkit is a first step towards boosting the nation's growth and recovery.
