Blitz Photography was started by veteran newspaper photographer Steve Reid and his wife Georgina. The have a studio in Gosport which was custom built by Steve who has over 25 years' experience in the photographic industry. Steve covered a number of important events such as the Tour de France and the inauguration of George W Bush during his time as a senior photographer and has now decided to turn his attention to a business that included studio and social photography as well as press, PR and commercial photography.

The company applied for BTG funding to purchase equipment to support the planned growth of the business.

With the help of Bridging the Gap, Blitz Photography has been able to give three apprentices a first job in the work place, add a full time assistant photographer and will soon add another full time member of staff. As well as the financial help during our start-up phase, the mentoring and support of Solent LEP has been crucial in the success of the business.
