British Marine - Boatbuilding Trailblazer Apprenticeship in Small and Medium Enterprises project

£51,200 has been invested by Solent LEP to support the implementation of a new boat building trailblazer initiative in the Solent. Through work with British Marine, the creation of a collaborative partnership will provide investment to support small and medium enterprises through the process of recruiting and mentoring apprentices and the implementation of the new Trailblazer Apprenticeship standard.  This will include the creation of materials to roll out to the wider marine sector to further build capacity to support SME recruitment, training and assessment of apprentices for the boat building Trailblazer Framework.
