Red Composites are a technical company who focus on the manufacture of towpreg products for the composites industry. Towpreg is ideal for use in winding applications to make composite tubes, vessels, structures, cables, or any other component which can be wound.

Red Composites was formed in 2010 and operated for approximately 2.5 years as a consultancy business in the composite manufacturing industry. The direction of the company shifted to manufacturing of towpreg in early 2013.

The company requested funding to support the growth of the new business through the purchase and installation of impregnation/drive equipment, as well as the purchase and installation of automated mixing equipment.
