Universal Tool & Production Co Ltd (UTP) provides quality niche precision mechanical engineering solutions to the Aerospace and Marine Oil and Gas industrial sectors, with a particular expertise in machining exotic materials, and offers a full make to print service for both components and small sub-assemblies.

The company requested funding to support the planned growth of the business.

Graham Papworth, Chairman of Univeral Tool Production, said:

We are very excited by the prospect of re-locating and centralising our production facilities in a fit for purpose modern building which enables us to grow the business to its potential.  We are grateful to the Solent LEP and our funding partner, Santander, for their support in probably the most major project the company will ever undertake.  Our professional team are working with our Design and Build contractor, Amiri Construction, to ensure that our facility will be the benchmark for others to follow in the Solent Zone.
