Wessex Cleaning Equipment & Janitorial Supplies Ltd was formed in 1990, when it was predominantly a Janitorial supply company with a very small workshop facility to repair/service cleaning machines. The business quickly grew and moved more into the supply and maintenance of machinery as it was felt that there was a gap in the market for a "one stop shop" supplier. This allowed the company to win business with clients like the MOD and NHS. In 2012 they began looking for a larger unit to give them space to expand and employ extra staff.

The company requested funding to support the business to move into larger premises and carry out required alterations to enable offer of a full trade counter and collection service.
