Consultation on Solent Combined Authority Launched

Following approval from Portsmouth City Council, Southampton City Council and the Isle of Wight Council, a public consultation is being launched to seek people’s views on the proposals.

The consultation has been launched today. Further information and details on how to respond are available at: www.solentdeal.co.uk 

The consultation will be open for a period of 8 weeks and the Solent LEP is encouraging Businesses to respond and share their views.

In addition to the open consultation process, the Solent LEP is very keen to undertake some dedicated consultation on the proposals with businesses in the Solent. We are holding a number of sessions in Portsmouth, Southampton and on the Isle of Wight during the next two months, at which businesses will be able to hear first-hand from Leaders promoting the proposal. Also, we are very keen to hear your views on the proposal. If you would like to register your interest in attending one of these sessions please email events@solentlep.org.uk  

The LEP is also using the consultation period to survey businesses on this important initiative and alongside this, if businesses have any specific views they would like to share, we would very much welcome comments and feedback.
