Maritime UK Solent welcomes industry innovators to Venturefest 2022

15 November 2022

Maritime UK Solent, the region's industry-led sector-based cluster body, is bringing together a panel of maritime experts for Venturefest 2022, the annual innovation festival being held at the Ageas Bowl on 17 November.

Maritime-related businesses and organisations are being invited to attend the free session, to network and explore how the sector is innovating to deliver the Government’s Maritime 2050 strategic ambitions.

Anne-Marie Mountifield, Chair of Maritime UK Solent said:

"On the back of our highly successful #NetZero session held at last year's Venturefest, we are thrilled to run this year's session alongside key maritime partners, aimed at helping companies to find mechanisms to take their ideas from the drawing board to tangible outcomes. This stimulating, collaborative session, is all about a range of stakeholders, from academia, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), research organisations, large businesses, through to Governmental departments and agencies, working together, all with the common goal to drive maritime innovation in the Solent."
