Solent LEP launches Productivity and Growth Strategy Update

The Solent LEP launched its Productivity and Growth Strategy Update at their 2017 Annual Conference on 2nd February at 2000 Lakeside.

The Solent LEPs Productivity and Growth Strategy Update published on 2nd February 2017 is now available here.

This document is a starting point in our work to develop a new vision for the Solent economy. Throughout March 2017 the Solent LEP will be hosting a series of round tables for Solent businesses across the area to help shape this vision, as well as the Solent LEPs response to the Government's Green Paper on Building our Industrial Strategy. This round table series includes sessions in Portsmouth (9:30 - 11:00, on 16th March), the Isle of Wight (14:00 - 15:30, 22nd March) and Southampton (14:30 - 16:00, 23rd March). In addition, in order to support the development of the our Productivity and Growth Strategy Update, Solent LEP commissioned Oxford Economics to independently outline the area’s recent economic performance, as well as provide latest forecasts for the LEP area over the next 20 years.
