Elections
The Solent LEP was the first LEP in the country to have a fully elected board of directors. Board Directors are democratically elected by LEP Company members, thus ensuring that we have a robust, transparent and accountable delivery structure in place. Business Members elect 9 Business Directors to the Board, Local Authority Members elect 5 Local Authority Directors to the Board and Higher Education Members elect 1 Higher Education Director to the Board.
