This is the launch of the Solent Freeport and the Solent 2050 Strategy.

The event will be hosted by Peter Henley, BBC South. Morning speakers include Dee Caffari MBE, Alastair Welch Executive Director ABP, Rachael Randall, Chair of the Solent LEP and Brian Johnson, Chair of the Solent Freeport.

After lunch, guests are invited to attend up to two short seminar sessions in support of the Solent’s aspirations, through the 2050 Strategy and the Freeport.

These sessions will cover:

• Solent 2050 Funding Opportunities
• Amplifying Innovation
• Future Skills for the Solent
• The Solent’s Natural Capital
