Solent LEP 2016/17 Innovation Programme Fund

The Solent LEP launched a call for projects for a £3m Innovation Programme Fund. Projects need to spend grant funding my 31st March 2017 and clearly demonstrate how they will innovate.

Three projects have been short-listed and the Solent LEP is seeking views on the ability of the following capital project to contribute to the Solent Growth Strategy as set out in the Strategic Economic Plan.

• BAE Systems - Solent Marine and Maritime Autonomy Hub  
• Bowman Power Group Limited - Productionisation and Commercialisation of a new generation of ETC systems 
• University of Portsmouth - Future Technology Centre 

This consultation is on the business case of each project listed. Further business cases relating to other schemes to improve the economic performance of our region may follow.

How to respond:

This is an eight week consultation period. The consultation period began on 20th June 2016 and will run until 1700 on 15th August 2016. Please ensure that your response reaches us before the closing date.
