2016/17 Innovation Programme Fund

On 3rd October the Solent LEP launched the 2016/17 Innovation Programme Fund - a £3m capital fund for science and innovation projects in the Solent.

The fund, which has previously supported the UKs first dedicated Centre for Cancer Immunology, a £25m state of the art facility Southampton, and the £11m Future Technology Centre in Portsmouth, is open to projects which will unlock further private sector investment in the area over the next year. Funding is available in grant, loan or equity format and bids must be between £250,000 and £3m. 

The LEP held a workshop on the fund on 13th October at KPMG in Chandler's Ford which was well attended and highlighted a number of potential projects. To view the slides from the workshop please click here.
